DESCRIPTION:Late Registration and Schedule Adjustment begin Jan. 21\, 2025. It’s called “late” because classes have started\, but even after classes begin\, you can adjust your schedule using online\, self-service registration. It’s perfectly fine! \nYou may add\, drop and swap classes\, and change the basis of grading online\, but what you can do depends on which week of classes we’re in. \n1st Week of Classes\nStarting with the first week of classes\, Jan. 21 through 26: \n\nWait listing is available through Sunday\, Jan. 26\, 11:59 pm.\nNo permission is required to add classes except for restricted classes\, which always require permission.\nThe maximum load remains 18 units. Check unit load exceptions.\nRepeating courses is permitted (started Dec. 12).\nProrated refunds begin. Find refund information.\n\n2nd to 4th Week of Classes\nStarting with the second through the fourth week of classes\, Jan. 27 through Feb. 16: \n\nWait listing is no longer available.\nPermission numbers are required to add ALL classes.\nThe last day to qualify for a partial refund due to a drop in academic load below 6.1 units is Friday\, Feb. 7.\nThe last day to drop or change grading basis using self-service registration is Sunday\, Feb. 16.\nMake every effort to finalize your schedule by Feb. 16 (“end” of the fourth week)\, when recorded enrollments are considered official.\n\nAfter the 4th Week\nAfter the fourth week\, formal approval is required to drop classes or change the grading basis.
