DESCRIPTION:Description:  In this introductory session\, participants will explore essential strategies and principles of accessibility and universal design aimed at fostering inclusive learning environments. The session will highlight practical approaches to supporting the diverse needs of students\, faculty\, and staff by creating materials and experiences that are accessible to all.\n \nLearning Objectives:  \n\nUnderstand the distinction between accessibility and universal design.\nLearn the four foundational principles of accessibility.\nIdentify the benefits of designing with accessibility in mind and applying universal design principles to enhance learning experiences and materials.\n\nRecommended Attendees: Staff\, Faculty\, Executives\, Financial Personnel\, Marketing Specialist\, Business Analyst\, Admin Support\, Graphic Designers\, and Instructional Support. \nLocation: Virtual event \n\nThese trainings are only available to CSUN employees.
