SUMMARY:Empowerment Through Improvement: A Workshop for Ongoing Success - Session #1 | CSU CCC
DESCRIPTION:Location: Online via Zoom; Connection details provided upon registration\n\nDescription:\nHave you ever found yourself thinking\, “There has to be a better way\,” “Why is this process so long\,” or “Haven’t we tried this before?” If so\, this workshop is for you! Sign up today for an interactive workshop designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Through a blend of theory\, best practices\, and hands-on simulations\, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of process improvement methodologies. Workshop Details: This is a 2-part workshop\, and participants are expected to attend both sessions. Part 1: Introduction to the basics of Lean Six Sigma methodology. Towards the end of the session\, participants will be assigned to teams and begin the simulation. Part 2: Teams will engage in a business process simulation and implement the DMAIC improvement cycle. This part will include some friendly competition\, demonstrating how Six Sigma concepts can lead to improved processes\, increased productivity\, and happier employees.
