DESCRIPTION:This coming Thursday\, Sept. 18\, CSUN will host Joonas Sildre\, a comics artist from Estonia who is currently touring the US to promote the English translation of his book Between Two Sounds\, a graphic biography of Arvo Pärt\, the most-performed living composer of our time. \nThis interdisciplinary event will happen at Kurland Hall from 5:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday. It will bring together music\, storytelling\, comics\, and the craft of biography. Please inform your students\, and encourage them to attend! \nThis event is free. It will include live drawing! Joonas will have copies of Between Two Sounds on hand to sell.
