If you are comfortable with the basics and ready to deepen your practice\, this session offers a practical next step. You will learn how to write more structured prompts\, adapt AI-generated responses for different audiences\, and personalize ChatGPT’s tone and behavior using simple instruction settings. The session includes real-world\, role-based examples drawn from higher education environments\, such as professional emails\, policy summaries\, procedural documents\, and outreach content. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice\, you will troubleshoot vague responses\, refine prompt strategies\, and build a personal prompt bank to streamline your academic or administrative responsibilities. \nLearning Outcomes: \n\nIdentify real-world workplace tasks where ChatGPT Edu can provide support\nApply the prompt framework formula to write clearer\, role-specific prompts\nTroubleshoot vague or incomplete AI responses using feedback and iteration\nAdapt AI outputs for tone\, format\, and audience needs in academic or administrative contexts\nUse personalization settings to guide ChatGPT’s behavior based on your role\nBuild a reusable prompt bank to streamline common professional tasks\n\nWho is this for?\nThis session is designed for CSU employees who are no longer beginners but not yet advanced in their use of ChatGPT Edu. \nHow will the learning take place?\nThis session includes short lectures\, live demonstrations\, guided prompt practice\, and optional peer sharing. Participants will receive coaching and support throughout hands-on activities. \nAre there pre-activities?\nNo required pre-activities.
