DESCRIPTION:EOP Free Speech EventJoin us for EOP’s annual Free Speech Event on Wednesday\, October 21\, from 12:00–1:30 PM at Matador Square! \nThis celebration honors our First Amendment right to freedom of speech\, bringing the campus community together to share ideas\, listen\, and connect. Without this essential right to free speech and assembly\, the student activists of the 1960s would not have been able to raise their voices and advocate for access to higher education. The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) was born out of the Civil Rights Movement and the fight for access. This event continues to honor that legacy. \nWe invite you to sign up for a 5-minute slot to express yourself through speech\, poetry\, music\, or storytelling.
