DESCRIPTION:Faculty Artist Recital – OcTUBAfest\nDr. P. Blake Cooper\, tuba\nSaturday October 26th\, 2025 at 3:00 pm Shigemi Matsumoto Recital Hall\, Free Admission \nDr. P Blake Cooper will be presenting a faculty recital for CSUN OcTubaFest 2025.  Joining Dr. Cooper for will this performance: Katie Eames on Piano and CSUN’s own Dillon MacIntyre on Trombone.\nDr. Cooper is an accomplished LA recording artist for Film\, TV\, video games and record dates. He serves as Principal Tuba with the New West Symphony and is a regular substitute musician with orchestras such as the LA Phil\, LA Opera\, San Diego Symphony\, and many more. This years OcTubaFest faculty recital will feature works by Szentpali\, Redden\, Koetsier\, Meador\, Nickens and Nishimura.\n\nThis event will be followed by a Tuba Student Studio Recital\, Monday Oct 27th at 7:30 PM\, also in Shigemi Matsumoto Recital Hall.\nSuggested Parking via Kiosks in Lot B1 \nThis is event is FREE. \nThis is event is not live streamed.
