DESCRIPTION:The CSUN Education Alumni Chapter invites you to the professional development conference Humanizing Education: Trauma-Informed and Inclusive Strategies for Today’s Educators. \nJoin us for a full day of learning\, connection\, and professional development focused on trauma-informed care and inclusive practices. This event is presented by the CSUN Education Alumni Association and supported by the Child Care Resource Center (CCRC). \nConference Highlights: \nKeynote: Heather Molloy\, California State University Channel Islands — Trauma-Informed Teaching Strategies \nBreakout Sessions with CSUN Office of Equity and Compliance\, Drew Child Development Corporation\, Connections for Children\, \nCenter for Optimal Brain Integration\, and Olivia Patlevi Castro. \nLunch & Learn with CSUN’s StrengthUnited \nAuthor Reading: Yumi and Her Allergy by CSUN alum Rina Matsumoto Ngo \nBreakfast\, boxed lunch\, and a certificate of completion for professional development hours are included.
