DESCRIPTION:On 5/14/2025 a meeting with two newly appointed educational consuls on campus\, attended by Drs. Weimin Sun\, Zhixin Su and Wei Cao\, served as a strategic opportunity to introduce the China Institute to and lay the groundwork for future cultural exchange initiatives. The discussion focused on securing support from the LA Consulate Office for upcoming collaborative activities. A key agenda item was the planning of the August meeting between CSUN President Erika Beck and General Consul Mr. Guo\, with the goal of strengthening institutional ties and fostering deeper engagement. The meeting not only advanced diplomatic and educational objectives but also helped build rapport with the consuls\, paving the way for sustained partnerships.
