DESCRIPTION:From March 17 to 23\, 2025\, Wenzhou Polytechnic and its School of Civil Engineering & Architecture hosted the “Oushang Spirit\, Ouyue Journey” YES Project Seminar\, a seven-day international youth exchange program. The initiative brought together 10 American and 8 Chinese participants for a series of immersive activities designed to promote cross-cultural understanding and showcase Wenzhou’s rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit. The program featured campus tours\, bilingual lectures\, traditional Chinese cultural experiences\, visits to historical and commercial sites\, and corporate engagements\, all aimed at fostering Sino-American friendship and inspiring global collaboration among young leaders. \nThe trip to Wenzhou Polytechnic University provided U.S. students with a transformative international experience that enriched their academic and personal development. By engaging in bilingual lectures\, cultural immersion activities\, and enterprise visits\, students gained firsthand insights into China’s engineering innovations\, traditional arts\, and business practices. These experiences fostered cross-cultural communication skills\, global awareness\, and adaptability—key competencies for success in today’s interconnected world. The program also encouraged collaboration and friendship between American and Chinese students\, laying a foundation for future international cooperation and professional growth.
