Community building can also foster team cohesion. Each member of a team can play a role in contributing to the community and creating a sense of belonging in their workplaces. In this workshop we will discuss the importance of belonging\, explore strategies for implementing belonging at work\, and examine the various -isms\, microaggressions\, and biases that detract from people’s belonging in workplaces. \nAll CIE programs aim to build equitable and inclusive community spaces for learning\, often while simultaneously addressing issues that can be sensitive and/or challenging. To ensure that these conversations stay productive\, participants are expected to follow our community agreements and the SDSU Principles of Community.
