DESCRIPTION:Applying for a job? Competing for an internship? Working on an admissions packet for grad school and need to spruce up your work history? Come to the LRC and learn how to put your best foot forward\, on the page\, in our resume/cv workshop! This workshop provides detailed explanations\, as well step-by-step processes\, for creating an effective and attention grabbing resume/cv. \nIf you are already working on something\, feel free to bring it! (This is not necessary\, however) \nHow to sign up:\n\nLog in to EAB.\nSelect the blue “Schedule appointment or view drop-in availability” button on the top right.\nOn the next screen\, select “Learning Resource Center (LRC)” from the first drop-down menu.\nUnder “Reason for your appointment\,” select the desired workshop. You must sign up more than one hour prior to the start of the workshop. \nYou may input your desired date. Then\, select “Find Available Time.” You will be taken to a screen which displays all currently available workshop dates and times.\nSelect the “appointment” time (the day and time of the workshop\, usually displayed within an oval). \nThen\, read the appointment details for important information\, such as the Zoom link for online workshops. In the “Would you like to share anything else?” box\, please include the words “proof needed” and your professor’s email address if you’d like us to send proof of attendance\, and any other important information such as whether you will be joined by an interpreter.\nSelect what type of reminders you’d like to receive and then select “Schedule.”\nYou can verify and cancel your workshop registration at any time by clicking “View Appointments.”\n\nIMPORTANT: If you need proof of attendance\, please put “proof needed\,” the course name\, and your instructor’s name and email address in the comments box on EAB. \nPlease call us at (818) 677-2033 or email onlinelrc@csun.edu with any questions or for assistance with registration.
