SUMMARY:October 2026 | Three-Step PDF Accessibility for Faculty (Canceled)
DESCRIPTION:Canceled due to low rsvp.\nPlease visit the Training Videos and Resources \nIf you have any questions or would like to meet with a UDC staff member\, you may schedule an appointment through the Bookings Appointment system or contact us at udc@csun.edu. \n\nDescription:  CSUN has a new pair of software tools that will improve the accessibility of many PDFs: the CSU PDF Accessibility Remediation tool and the Canvas Course Accessibility Report. We’ll conclude by reviewing campus resources for additional support with PDFs. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nUnderstand what makes a PDF “accessible” and how to check.\nLearn how to use the two key software tools.\nFamiliarity with the limitations of this method and where expert human review and adjustments may be needed.\nKnow where to get support with the two tools and with PDFs that need additional work.\n\nRecommended Attendees: Faculty\, Academic Support Staff. \nLocation: Virtual event \n\nThese trainings are only available to CSUN employees. You are required to login with your CSUN credentials in order to access Microsoft Bookings form). If you encounter any issues while completing the training registration form\, please contact udc@csun.edu. \nTo register via Microsoft Bookings\, go to the date of the workshop and select the time in the Bookings calendar\, fill in your information\, then scroll down to select the red Book button. \n  \n\nNote: The accessibility training is for CSUN faculty\, staff\, student employees\, and alumni. \nAccommodations: ASL interpreter available.
