Participants will learn how to avoid common accessibility barriers\, utilize structural elements for accessible design\, and convert presentations into accessible formats such as tagged PDFs\, Braille\, or large print. The session will also explore tools like Slide Master to support consistent\, inclusive slide design. \nLearning Objectives \n\nIdentify the principles of accessibility and universal design\nUse the Slide Master feature in PowerPoint to optimize slide accessibility\nExplain key accessibility features in PowerPoint and apply them to create inclusive presentations\n\nRecommended Attendees: Staff\, Faculty\, IT Specialist\, Web Developers\, Web Content Creators\, Graphic Designers\, Instructional Support\, Business Analysis\, Financial Personnel\, Marketing Specialist\, and Admin Support. \nLocation: Virtual event \nNote: The accessibility training is for CSUN faculty\, staff\, student employees\, and alumni. \nAccommodations: ASL interpreter available.
