This includes the integration of captions\, transcripts\, and audio descriptions. In this session\, participants will be introduced to Panopto\, a new platform integrated with Canvas and Zoom\, offering features such as lecture recording\, screencasting\, video streaming\, automated captioning\, and content management. The session also covers accessibility features across other commonly used platforms. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nIdentify and use accessibility features in Panopto\, Zoom\, Canvas Studio\, Camtasia\, YouTube\, and social media platforms.\nUnderstand the capabilities and limitations of automated captioning tools.\nLearn practical tips and techniques for creating videos that are accessible and inclusive to all viewers.\n\nRecommended Attendees: Faculty\, instructional designers and faculty/instructional support staff. \nLocation: Virtual event \nNote: The accessibility training is for CSUN faculty\, staff\, student employees\, and alumni. \nAccommodations: If you require accommodations\, please contact udc@csun.edu. \nPlease note that a minimum of 10 attendees is required for UDC to conduct the training event.
