DESCRIPTION:In a survey of CSUN students who participated in AL$\, nearly 70% said they delay buying their required course textbooks\, while 35% of students forgo buying textbooks due to cost. As libraries face limitations in purchasing course materials due to budget cuts and the evolving licensing landscape\, students will be navigating even greater challenges in accessing the resources they need to succeed. This may mean the difference between graduating on time or dropping out. \nNow\, more than ever\, we must think creatively to support our students with affordable course materials.
