Attendees will learn how to apply proper tagging techniques to ensure PDFs meet accessibility standards and are usable by individuals with disabilities. The session also highlights the importance of preserving accessibility features during the conversion process from Microsoft Word to PDF. \nLearning Objectives \n\nUnderstand how converting Word documents to PDF can preserve and enhance accessibility features\nExplain the essential components that make a PDF document accessible\nEvaluate converted PDFs to identify and correct common accessibility issues\n\nRecommended Attendees: Staff\, Faculty\, IT Specialist\, Web Developers\, Web Content Creators\, Graphic Designers\, Instructional Support\, Business Analysis\, Financial Personnel\, Marketing Specialist\, and Admin Support \nLocation: Virtual event \n\nThese trainings are only available to CSUN employees.
