SUMMARY:Nation Transfer Student Week 2026
DESCRIPTION:National Transfer Student Week is a nationwide celebration of transfer students and the unique journeys\, experiences\, and strengths they bring to campus communities. At CSUN\, we’re celebrating all week long with opportunities to connect\, create\, reflect\, and show some transfer student pride! This year\, we will be celebrating from October 19–23\, 2026! \nRSVP is requested for the following two events: \n\nPainting by the Pond: Tuesday\, October 20 | 2:00–4:00 PM | Location: CSUN Orange Grove and Pond: Take a breath from studying for midterms\, pick up a paintbrush\, and let your creativity flow! Unwind by the pond with calming sounds\, colors\, canvases\, and other fellow transfer students. No art skills needed!\nTransfer Mingle: Wednesday\, October 21 | 5:00–7:00 PM | Location: CSUN Black House: Join us at this fun event and find new connections\, shared experiences\, and good vibes! Celebrate the many identities that make up our CSUN transfer community with vision board making\, games\, food\, and music.\n\nAnd don’t forget to check out the Transfer Spotlights on our Instagram and stop by our Transfer Identity Tree (stationed at Valera NEST) throughout the Transfer Week! Grab a leaf\, leave a message about what being a transfer student means to you or what makes you proud of your transfer journey\, and add your voice to the tree. The activity is designed as a drop-in experience and does not require an RSVP. \nNational Transfer Student Week is organized by the HERE Center’s Badge Project and Transfer Student Alliance\, with support from our campus partners: \nOffice of Student Success\, University Student Union\, The Valera NEST\, Associated Students\, Academic First Year Experience\,  The Black House\, Parent Scholar Resources Center\, DREAM Center\, In the Loop Club\, and Mindfulness Club. \nWe can’t wait to celebrate CSUN’s transfer student community with you! \nPlease contact at start.office@csun.edu if you have any questions. Please submit any request for accommodation by October 12\, 2026.
