DESCRIPTION:The CSUN campus will be closed for Winter Recess from Friday\, Dec. 25\, 2026\, to Friday\, Jan. 1\, 2027. \nThe last official day of the fall 2026 semester is Thursday\, Dec. 24\, 2026. Many offices will be closed Dec. 24\, so please plan ahead. \nStarting Monday\, Dec. 28\, 2026 and continuing through Friday\, Jan. 15\, 2027\, Winter Term 2027 regular CSUN courses are offered fully-online through the Tseng College self-support\, extension Open University Program. Learn more at Tseng College Winter Term 2027 and Winter Term 2027 Classes Begin. \nNoteworthy:\n\nThe CSUN University Library is always available online.\nSome CSUN facilities are often open special hours during winter break. View Winter Term courses in Class Search and filter the learning mode by choosing “no set meeting days or times.” \nWinter Term offers regular CSUN courses fully online through CSUN’s Tseng College of Extended Learning. Courses are offered on a self-support basis at a per-unit fee. \nWinter Session Highlights \n\nComplete coursework at an accelerated pace.\nEarn up to four transferrable units.\nNo registration appointment is required.\nCourses are held fully online. No trips to campus are required.*\n\n*Exception: A few on-campus specialty classes may be offered through the Office of Student Success. \nImportant Winter Session Dates \n\nThe last day to add a class online without permission is Wednesday\, Dec. 30\, 2026.\nLast day to add a class online with a permission number is Thursday\, Dec. 31.\nLast day to drop a class online is Thursday\, Dec. 31.
