DESCRIPTION:Classes for Summer Session 3 (second six weeks) begin Wednesday\, July 8\, 2026. \n\nWait-listing continues through the first Sunday\, July 12\, 11:59 p.m.\nBeginning Monday\, July 13\, add classes online with a permission number from the instructor or department offering the course.\nThe last day to drop a class online is Friday\, July 17.\nThe last day to add with permission is Friday\, July 31.\nThe last day of Session 3 classes and the entire summer terms is Aug. 18.\n\nFinal exams in summer are scheduled for the last class meeting. When classes begin for a session\, late registration and schedule adjustment also begin. \nLate Registration\, Summer Session 3\nManage time with the following dates. Please note that adding with permission and wait-listing in summer term are now more like the fall and spring semesters. \nAdd Classes:\n\nAdd classes online without a permission number through Sunday\, July 12\, 2026. (Year-round cohort courses always require permission to add.)\nAdd only with a permission number from the instructor beginning Monday\, July 13.\nThe last day to add a Session 3 class with permission is Friday\, July 31.\n\nWait-List for Closed Classes:\n\nWait-listing begins with your summer enrollment appointment or the start of Nonrestrictive Registration on April 1\, whichever comes first.\nWait-listing for Session 3 classes ends Sunday\, July 12\, 11:59 p.m.\n\nDrop Classes Online:\n\nThe last day to drop one or more Session 3 classes online is Friday\, July 17.\nFormal approval is required to drop one or more classes beginning July 18.\n\nLast Day of Instruction:\n\nThe last day of formal instruction for Session 3 and the last day of Summer Term 2026 is Tuesday\, Aug. 18.\nFinal exams in summer are typically scheduled for the last class meeting.
