No appointment is required for matriculated CSUN students. \n\nMatriculated students are enrolled in CSUN degree or university certificate programs.\nNonmatriculated students enrolling through the Tseng College (extension)\, please visit Open University.\n\nAcademic Advising\nIf you haven’t met with your academic advisor yet\, schedule an appointment now: \n\nUndergraduate student advising\nGraduate student advising\n\nAbout Nonrestrictive Registration\nDuring Nonrestrictive Registration\, you can: \n\nRepeat courses previously taken at CSUN. Check with your advisor first.\nAdd open classes without permission (restricted classes always require permission).\nWait-list for closed classes — up to 13 units.\nNonrestrictive Registration ends Monday\, Jan. 19\, 2026\, the day before spring classes begin.\n\nTuition and Fees\nCheck tuition and other fees\, the payment deadline and more on the Student Finance / University Cash Services website. \nNote that payment is due the week BEFORE classes begin. Just make sure you’re in the right place at the right time. \nFinal Exams Week\nFinal examinations are held Saturday through Friday\, Dec. 13 through 19\, 2025. \n\nYour final exam schedule displays with your class schedule in the CSUN Portal under the top menu Academics tab and the Current Class Schedule link.\nIf you have a final exam schedule conflict\, contact both professors immediately to request alternate arrangements.\n\nLearn more at Final Exams FAQ. \nBest wishes for “breaking a leg” on finals! \nView Grades in the CSUN Portal\n\nYou may be able to view some of your grades through the CSUN Portal as early as Dec. 13. Grades are updated nightly thereafter.\nThe last day for instructors to report grades is Tuesday\, Dec. 23.\nThe last official day of the fall 2025 semester is Wednesday\, Dec. 24.\n\nGrade of Incomplete\n\nIf you received a grade of Incomplete in the fall 2024 semester\, you must submit the required course work by the last official day of fall 2025\, the following calendar year.\nIf you need more time to complete the course work\, you must file the Request for Extension of Time to Remove an Incomplete (PDF) before Dec.24\, 2025.*\n\n*Please note that some offices may be closed on Dec. 24.
