DESCRIPTION:Get Ready to Enroll!\nRegistration-by-Appointment for fall 2026 classes begins Monday\, June 1\, 2026. Your enrollment appointment is based on the number of units you’ve completed\, your class level and other factors. Unfortunately\, it’s not negotiable. \n\nYou may enroll starting with your registration appointment date and time and after.\nRegistration-by-Appointment ends Sunday\, July 5.\nStarting July 6\, no appointment is required to enroll.\n\nFind your academic advisor and schedule an advising appointment if you haven’t already done so. \nAbout Registration-by-Appointment\nDuring the Registration-by-Appointment period: \n\nNo permission is required to add classes unless they are restricted. Check for restrictions in “class notes” in Class Search.\nMaximum load for students in good standing: 18 units. Check academic load exceptions.\nYou can wait-list for closed classes (maximum of 13 wait-listed units).\n\nNEW! Starting fall 2026\, repeating courses for the purpose of grade forgiveness or grade averaging is allowed as soon as your enrollment appointment arrives. DESCRIPTION:Summer Term 2026 classes are not in session from Friday through Sunday\, June 19 to 21\, 2026\, and CSUN offices are closed in commemoration of the Juneteenth National Independence Day. It is the newest national holiday. \n\nCheck University Library hours (it’s never closed online!) and Student Recreation Center hours.\nSummer classes resume Monday\, June 22.\n\nJuneteenth — also known as Freedom Day\, Jubilee Day\, Black Independence Day — commemorates the anniversary of the order proclaiming the ending of slavery in the U.S. that was delivered in Galveston\, Texas on June 19\, 1865.
