DESCRIPTION:Nonrestrictive Registration for spring 2027 classes begins Saturday\, Dec. 12\, 2026. No appointment is required for matriculated CSUN students. \n\nMatriculated students are enrolled in CSUN degree or university certificate programs. You may continue enrolling.\nNonmatriculated students enrolling through the Tseng College (extension)\, please visit Open University.\n\nAcademic Advising\nIf you haven’t met with your academic advisor yet\, schedule an appointment now: \n\nUndergraduate student advising\nGraduate student advising\n\nNEW! You don’t need to wait to repeat a course.\n\nRepeating courses for the purpose of grade forgiveness or grade averaging is now allowed as soon as your enrollment appointment arrives. Confirm with your academic advisor that repeating a course is your best option.\n\nAbout Nonrestrictive Registration\nDuring Nonrestrictive Registration\, you can: \n\nAdd open classes without permission (restricted classes always require permission).\nWait-list for closed classes — up to 13 units.\nNonrestrictive Registration ends Monday\, Jan. 19\, 2026\, the day before spring classes begin.\n\nTuition and Fees\nCheck tuition and other fees\, the payment deadline and more on the Student Finance / University Cash Services website. \nNote that payment is due the week BEFORE classes begin.
