DESCRIPTION:Nonrestrictive Registration for spring 2027 classes begins Saturday\, Dec. 12\, 2026. No appointment is required for matriculated CSUN students. \n\nMatriculated students are enrolled in CSUN degree or university certificate programs. You may continue enrolling.\nNonmatriculated students enrolling through the Tseng College (extension)\, please visit Open University.\n\nAcademic Advising\nIf you haven’t met with your academic advisor yet\, schedule an appointment now: \n\nUndergraduate student advising\nGraduate student advising\n\nNEW! You don’t need to wait to repeat a course.\n\nRepeating courses for the purpose of grade forgiveness or grade averaging is now allowed as soon as your enrollment appointment arrives. Confirm with your academic advisor that repeating a course is your best option.\n\nAbout Nonrestrictive Registration\nDuring Nonrestrictive Registration\, you can: \n\nAdd open classes without permission (restricted classes always require permission).\nWait-list for closed classes — up to 13 units.\nNonrestrictive Registration ends Monday\, Jan. 19\, 2026\, the day before spring classes begin.\n\nTuition and Fees\nCheck tuition and other fees\, the payment deadline and more on the Student Finance / University Cash Services website. \nNote that payment is due the week BEFORE classes begin. DESCRIPTION:Friday\, Nov. 13\, 2026\, is the last day to add a fall 2026 class with instructor permission. \nTo ADD a class in Weeks 5 through 12\, Sept. 21 to Nov. 13\, 2025: \n\nRequest a permission number from the instructor and enroll using self-service registration.\nAdd online no later than Friday\, Nov. 13 (end of Week 12)\, 11:59 p.m.\nAlways check your student financial account balance and payment due date when changing your schedule.\n\nTo DROP or completely withdraw from classes in Week 5 and after: \n\nRequest formal approval using the appropriate Late Schedule Change form(s).\nFind a timeline and procedures for late changes\, including medical withdrawals.\nVisit the University Cash Services website for refund information and eligibility.\nTo avoid a failing grade and more\, be sure to drop classes you no longer want\, including the CSU Fully Online course you might be taking at another CSU.
