DESCRIPTION:Nonrestrictive Registration for spring 2027 classes begins Saturday\, Dec. 12\, 2026. No appointment is required for matriculated CSUN students. \n\nMatriculated students are enrolled in CSUN degree or university certificate programs. You may continue enrolling.\nNonmatriculated students enrolling through the Tseng College (extension)\, please visit Open University.\n\nAcademic Advising\nIf you haven’t met with your academic advisor yet\, schedule an appointment now: \n\nUndergraduate student advising\nGraduate student advising\n\nNEW! You don’t need to wait to repeat a course.\n\nRepeating courses for the purpose of grade forgiveness or grade averaging is now allowed as soon as your enrollment appointment arrives. Confirm with your academic advisor that repeating a course is your best option.\n\nAbout Nonrestrictive Registration\nDuring Nonrestrictive Registration\, you can: \n\nAdd open classes without permission (restricted classes always require permission).\nWait-list for closed classes — up to 13 units.\nNonrestrictive Registration ends Monday\, Jan. 19\, 2026\, the day before spring classes begin.\n\nTuition and Fees\nCheck tuition and other fees\, the payment deadline and more on the Student Finance / University Cash Services website. \nNote that payment is due the week BEFORE classes begin. SUMMARY:New DPR Audit Coming October 2026!
DESCRIPTION:CSUN is preparing to launch an updated DPR Audit in mid-October 2026!  When it launches\, you’ll continue to use the new Audit to review degree progress\, remaining requirements and what-if options like hypothetically changing your major. \nThe new DPR Audit will include: \n\nNavigation much like the current DPR Audit experience\,\nEnhanced graphic interface for degree progress and remaining requirements\,\nImproved mobile viewing and what-if audit functionality\, and\nContinued handling of CSUN degree requirements\, transfer work\, substitutions\, waivers\, repeats and GPA requirements.\n\nThe new DPR Planner will roll out separately in phases starting spring 2027. Until the new Planner is available\, you should use the new DPR Audit\, academic advising support\, and any department-recommended planning tools to map out future courses such as the Degree Road Maps. \nIf you are using the current DPR Planner\, be sure to review\, document\, download and/or save your existing plans before the mid-October transition. \nResources\n\nDegree Progress Report and Planner How-To Guide\nPlan Your Degree: Degree Planning Tools\n\nFor more information\, please contact your academic advisor or the Office of the Registrar (Records & Registration).
