Known for her magnetic humor and candid storytelling\, Haddish brings a distinctive voice shaped by resilience\, creativity and a remarkable journey from adversity to international acclaim. \n📅 Date: Friday\, October 9\, 2026⏰ Time: 6:00–8:00 PM📍 Location: Zev Yaroslavsky Rehearsal Room | CSUN Map/Event Location | CSUN 3D Interactive Map\n🍽️ Complimentary hors d’oeuvres \n \nModeled after the Harlem Renaissance salons\, the CSBS Salon Series is designed to enlighten\, inspire\, and bring together alumni\, friends\, and community members through meaningful dialogue and cultural exchange. This fall’s salon promises an engaging and memorable evening with one of today’s most influential entertainers. \nProceeds from the event will support the CSBS Community Endowed Professorship in Africana Studies (CEPAS) at California State University\, Northridge\, helping advance scholarship and community engagement within the discipline. \nParking\nSelf-parking is located near The Soraya in Parking Lot B1 at the corner of Nordhoff St. and Darby Ave. \nFor information and directions to parking\, please visit The Soraya’s website. \nPlease note that this is not a Soraya-presented event\, so if you are a Soraya member\, you will need to purchase parking at this event.
