To that end\, she is also on faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine\, where she teaches toxicology to second-year veterinary medicine students.

She began her legal career as a litigation associate\, defending insurance companies. \n \nAlan S. Petlak \nMediator and Arbitrator Judicate West \nPrior to joining Judicate West as a neutral in 2022\, Alan spent over twenty years as a big firm litigator handling a variety of disputes from intake to trial. He has expertise in real estate\, personal injury\, consumer finance\, employment\, and securities and has litigated a wide variety of complicated business disputes. Judge Pirozzi has been a licensed real estate broker since 1978 and previously held a Series 7 securities license. She has mediated and arbitrated well over 2\,700 matters during her distinguished 27 year neutral career.
