DESCRIPTION:Join the CSUN Alumni Attorney Networking Group’s June meeting via Zoom to connect and learn with fellow Matador attorneys. \nDate: June 3\, 2026\nTime: 5:00 p.m.\nCost: Free\nVIA ZOOM \nZoom Link \nMeeting ID: 899 0171 6064 \nPasscode: 438425 \nRegister Here\nPresentation: \nWe welcome again transactional real estate attorney\, Elana Luber\, who will present on “The Retail Commercial Lease”. She will provide the framework to understanding a retail commercial lease with common myths and misconceptions. Elana Luber has over 30 years experience as a transactional real estate attorney specializing in retail leasing\, acquisition\, disposition\, financing\, and development. She has represented shopping center developers\, institutional owners and national retail tenants in a myriad of retail projects\, including power\, lifestyle and neighborhood shopping centers\, as well as mixed-use developments. In addition to her experience representing private sector developers\, she has worked extensively with public sector entities\, including cities\, counties and redevelopment agencies. Her retail expertise is coupled with a broad base of experience in mixed use\, office and industrial leasing and development\, and she has worked on projects located throughout the United States as well as a few outside of the country. She attended the University of San Diego Law School and is the principal of her own firm. One hour of MCLE will be provided. \nThe Attorney Networking Group’s monthly meetings help build mutually beneficial social connections between fellow Matador attorney alumni. Increasing the potential for consultations and referrals\, our monthly meetings also feature continuing education credits and/or presentations by a guest speaker specifically tailored for practicing attorneys.
