SUMMARY:The Business School at Huangzhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics at CSUN\, 17 CSUN students finished one 3-credit class in China.
DESCRIPTION:In the program\, the CSUN and HUST students studied managerial accounting class side by side\, work together on team projects and presentations. They visited two corporates\, went for sightseeing\, participated in several cross-cultural activities and friendship games. The CSUN-HUST summer program provides a valuable and unforgettable experience to the students. Students tried to understand the economic and cultural factors that influence businesses environment and practices in China. They would be able to compare differences in business practices and economic environment between China and the US. Also\, students developed critical thinking\, analytical and communication skills relevant to professional development in an international context. This program would help forge long-lasting friendship\, network and future collaborations between the US. and the Chinese students. The HUST-CSUN 2024 summer program is off to a good start for the international cultural and educational exchange.
