Winter Term 2027 registration for CSUN students begins Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026. Visiting students may enroll beginning Oct. 13.
View Winter Term courses in Class Search, select Winter Session 2027, and filter the instruction mode by choosing “no set meeting days or times.”
Winter Term offers regular CSUN courses fully online through CSUN’s Tseng College of Extended Learning as a “special session.” Courses are offered on a self-support basis at a per-unit fee.
Winter Session Highlights
- Complete coursework at an accelerated pace.
- Earn up to four transferrable units.
- No registration appointment is required.
- All classes are held fully online. No trips to campus are required.*
*Exception: A few on-campus specialty classes may be offered through the Office of Student Success.
Important Winter Session Dates
- Classes begin Monday, Dec. 28, 2026 and end Friday, Jan. 15, 2027.
- The last day to add online without permission is Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2026.
