Winter Recess 2026

The CSUN campus will be closed for Winter Recess from Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, to Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
The last official day of the fall 2025 semester is Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025. Many offices will be closed Dec. 24, so please plan ahead.
During the recess and into January, Winter Term 2026 fully-online courses are offered through the Tseng College self-support, extension Open University Program. Visit Tseng College Winter Term Calendar for more information.
Noteworthy:
- The CSUN University Library is always available online.
- Some CSUN facilities are often open special hours during winter recess. Check hours for the University Library, Student Recreation Center, etc., on their respective websites. Of course, the library is always available electronically!

Regular campus office hours resume Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.
