Build a strategy for your fund seeking and growing your relationships and networks. Learn how to leverage existing resources in the college, across CSUN and between CSUs. Conversation will include the importance and art of storytelling in communicating your research in writing and conversation. Our panelists will share tools and strategies that work to reach potential funders and partners. Hear their stories of strategy and serendipity while building towards success. While the focus of the series is fund-seeking, this session is also more broadly applicable to engaging community partners and creating institutional support for your projects.
Each session will be introduced and moderated by Alby Luchko, Contracts, Grants & Research Development Officer for CSBS. Everyone is welcome including students and staff!

This four-part series aims to provide researchers with resources to continue fund-seeking after a season of changes and uncertainty. We want to consider making strategic choices and reframing our research narratives to appeal to our funding opportunities. Throughout the series, you’ll not only learn tips and templates, but also how to leverage college and campus resources to support your work.
All sessions take place in the Whitsett Room (SH451) on Thursdays at 3:30 pm.
