Reproductive Justice and Black Women’s Maternal Health.

Gender and Women’s Studies will host Licensed Midwives from the Kindred Space LA Birthing Center. The center was founded by Kimberly Durdin and Allegra Hill in response to the black maternity health crisis effecting black birthing people in this country. These guest speakers will enliven the subject of reproductive justice for students and encourage them to think about their capacity to create services for their communities.
