Repeating Courses Permitted, Summer 2025

Beginning Tuesday, April 1, 2025, matriculated* CSUN students may repeat courses previously taken at CSUN for the purposes of grade forgiveness (undergraduates only) or GPA improvement.

• Repeating courses is possible only when Nonrestrictive Registration begins.
• You may enroll in a repeated course through the end of the Late Registration period for each summer session. For exact dates, visit the Summer Term 2025 Registration Calendar.

Before repeating a class, it’s wise to check with your academic advisor to make sure it’s the right move.

*A matriculated CSUN student has been admitted to the university and is enrolled in a CSUN degree or certificate program. Visiting students are not matriculated.
