Get Ready to Enroll!
Registration-by-Appointment for fall 2026 classes begins Monday, June 1, 2026. Your enrollment appointment is based on the number of units you’ve completed, your class level and other factors. Unfortunately, it’s not negotiable.
- You may enroll starting with your registration appointment date and time and after.
- Registration-by-Appointment ends Sunday, July 5.
- Starting July 6, no appointment is required to enroll.
Find your academic advisor and schedule an advising appointment if you haven’t already done so.
About Registration-by-Appointment
During the Registration-by-Appointment period:
- No permission is required to add classes unless they are restricted. Check for restrictions in “class notes” in Class Search.
- Maximum load for students in good standing: 18 units. Check academic load exceptions.
- You can wait-list for closed classes (maximum of 13 wait-listed units).
NEW! Starting fall 2026, repeating courses for the purpose of grade forgiveness or grade averaging is allowed as soon as your enrollment appointment arrives. Confirm with your academic advisor that repeating a course is your best option.
