Get Ready to Enroll
Starting Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026 and after, eligible new and continuing students will receive the “Spring 2027 Registration Information” reminder email, sent to their CSUN email account.
Free Speech – Right & Responsibility
New California legislation, SB 1287, establishes two requirements for students in the California State University (CSU) that you’ll need to complete before enrolling in spring 2027 classes.* You’ll need to:
- Acknowledge the CSU Code of Conduct and
- Complete an online CSU Freedom of Expression training.
Learn how to complete these two tasks at Before You Register.
*If you’ve already completed the above requirements, you’re good to go. They are required only once in your CSUN career.
Spring 2027 Registration Email
As usual, review the Spring 2027 Registration Information email to:
- Plan ahead for tuition and other fees and calendar the payment due date.
- Check for and clear registration holds, meet with your academic advisor and more.
- Look for your spring 2027 registration appointment, which will display in your CSUN Portal Checklist.
