This workshop, part of the Launching Your Career Series, is designed to help you approach salary negotiations with confidence, ensuring you secure a compensation package that reflects your value and give you the tools and strategies to navigate salary negotiations.
During this session, you will:
- Understand the fundamentals of salary negotiations, including why negotiation is important and when to initiate the conversation.
- Learn how to research salary expectations for your role and industry, using tools like salary surveys and compensation data to build a strong case.
- Explore strategies to assess the total compensation package, including benefits, bonuses, stock options, and other non-monetary perks.
- Discover how to confidently present your value and communicate your skills, experience, and accomplishments to justify your salary request.
- Gain insights into how to handle counteroffers and respond to common negotiation tactics from employers.
