Healing Ragas: Sound, Breath, and Transformation in Indian Classical Music is an immersive cultural and wellness experience featuring Robin Sukhadia, a Fulbright Scholar and student of renowned tabla maestro Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri. This program invites participants to explore the foundations of Indian classical music through raga (melodic frameworks) and tala (rhythmic cycles), while engaging in practices that connect sound, breath, and mindfulness.
The event begins with a hands-on immersion workshop (4:30–5:30 PM) where attendees will learn about rhythm, breathwork, and the meditative qualities of music as tools for grounding and transformation. Following the workshop, attendees are invited to continue the experience over South Asian food (5:30–7:30 PM), fostering connection, reflection, and shared learning in a welcoming space.
