CSUN Masanga Marimba and African Ensemble 25^th Anniversary Concert

Celebrate 25 years of rhythm, community, and global music-making with Masanga Marimba and the CSUN African Music Ensemble, led by Professor Ric Alviso. This special anniversary concert reunites students from the past quarter century alongside distinguished guests, performing vibrant traditional music from Africa and Latin America on the largest Zimbabwean marimba ensemble in the U.S. From joyous welcome songs and dance rhythms to beloved favorites like Wimoweh, Waka Waka, and more, this high-energy performance promises an afternoon of powerful drumming, rich harmonies, and irresistible groove.
