“Crip Camp” Film Screening: A Revolution You Never Knew Existed

April 8 at 11:30 am to 2:00 pm

University Student Union

Learn how a group of teenagers’ resilience gradually changed a fundamental civil rights law with a free screening, followed by a discussion of the documentary, Crip Camp. Engage with a thought-provoking work that challenges previous narratives around the disabled community. Share your thoughts with fellow Matadors on how language can transform how we navigate representation, allyship and advocacy.

All are welcome to this inspiring event and discover a civil rights movement you were never taught.
