Applying for a job? Competing for an internship? Working on an admissions packet for grad school and need to spruce up your work history? Come to the LRC and learn how to put your best foot forward, on the page, in our resume/cv workshop! This workshop provides detailed explanations, as well step-by-step processes, for creating an effective and attention grabbing resume/cv.
If you are already working on something, feel free to bring it! (This is not necessary, however)
DISH is a weekly, open support session designed specifically for graduate students working on larger projects.
DISH will be held throughout the semester to try to provide all interested students an opportunity to build and engage with a graduate-student specific learning community. Each session will allow students a space to work independently on your project with a Faculty Writing Consultant on hand if you need any assistance.
DISH is meant to provide an open space for graduate students to network with others, help keep themselves accountable for completing their projects, and work independently with access to a writing consultant for questions.
IMPORTANT: If you need proof of attendance, please put “proof needed,” the course name, and your instructor’s name and email address in the comments box on EAB.
Please call us at (818) 677-2033 or email onlinelrc@csun.edu with any questions or for assistance with registration.
