Books Aloud: A World Book Day Celebration
April 23 at 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
In honor of UNESCO International Day of the Book and Poetry Month, the CSUN University Library and Friends of the Library are excited to invite our community to “Books Aloud: A World Book Day Celebration.” Books Aloud will be a community gathering with live readings and discussion in the Gohstand Leisure Reading Room (Library, 2nd Floor, west wing).
Bring a (print) book and share your favorite passage with other book-lovers! Readers will get 3 to 5 minutes to read to accommodate all participants, so please limit your selection to 1-2 poems or 1-4 pages of text. Please pick a passage that has made a difference in your life.
The event is open to all, light refreshments will be served.

Because time is limited, we cannot guarantee a spot for every participant who signs up to read.
