Come to the
CSUN BOOK ARTS FESTIVAL
Join us for the CSUN Book Arts Festival on March 7, 2026, at the CSUN USU East Conference Center—a
one-day gathering celebrating books as art objects, social practices, and engines of connection.
This is not a conference. It’s a festival!
Expect hands-on workshops, live print demos, collaborative readings, performances, publishing
experiments, participatory projects, and conversations that move—bringing together writers,
artists, publishers, students, and community organizers from across Los Angeles.
Browse tables filled with artist books, small-press publications, tools, and
works-in-progress. Meet the people behind the projects. See how books are made,
shared, circulated, and reimagined.
If you’re curious about what books can be, and how creative knowledge moves
through communities, this is the place to be!
All festival events and workshops are FREE.
