2026 CSUN Lunar New Year Gala
February 21 at 11:30 am to 2:30 pm
This year’s theme, “Strength in Motion: Moving Forward Together,” celebrates the resilience and collective progress symbolized by the Year of the Horse. The Gala is the Institute’s most significant annual event, bringing together faculty, students, alumni, and community partners to strengthen cultural understanding, deepen global engagement, and support student success.
Lunch will feature authentic Chinese cuisine.

Keynote Address by a distinguished CSUN community member.
Student Reflections from recent U.S.–China exchange programs.
Cultural Heritage Program featuring long‑spout tea art, dough sculpture, sugar painting.
Silent Charity Sports Auction, including rare Olympic collectibles generously donated by CSUN alumni.
