The 41st CSUN Assistive Technology Conference: What Faculty and Students Should Know
CSUN has put on the premier international assistive technology conference for more than four decades. The conference is a fascinating environment that brings together disability advocates, technology professionals, and more.

For your students, the conference is a unique opportunity to polish professional skills. They can mingle and observe the different professionals in attendance, from sales to legal and more. Accessibility skills are marketable and students can take in workshops to about them. There’s even a job fair.
This year’s conference takes place March 10 to 13, 2026, at the Anaheim Marriott. The registration fee for students is $100, which is out of reach for many of our students. So there are two ways they might attend for free, but both have application deadlines.
Scholarships
Microsoft is sponsoring scholarships for first-time attendees. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Scholarships do not cover travel expenses.
Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall is free and open to the public with advance registration. While this option does not include workshops, students who visit the exhibit hall will be able to interact with technology vendors and observe the business of the conference. Registration for an Exhibit Hall Pass opens January 6, 2026.
