Winter Term 2027 Classes Begin

Winter Term 2027 classes begin Monday, Dec. 28, 2026. View Winter Term courses in Class Search and filter the learning mode by choosing “no set meeting days or times.”

Winter Term offers regular CSUN courses fully online through CSUN’s Tseng College of Extended Learning. Courses are offered on a self-support basis at a per-unit fee.

Winter Session Highlights

• Complete coursework at an accelerated pace.
• Earn up to four transferrable units.
• No registration appointment is required.
• Courses are held fully online. No trips to campus are required.*

*Exception: A few on-campus specialty classes may be offered through the Office of Student Success.

Important Winter Session Dates

• The last day to add a class online without permission is Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2026.
• Last day to add a class online with a permission number is Thursday, Dec. 31.
• Last day to drop a class online is Thursday, Dec. 31. After that, formal approval is required.*
• Last day of classes is Friday, Jan. 15, 2027.

*Be sure to officially drop a class you will not attend to avoid a grade of WU, which converts to an F in calculating GPA.
